But from the moment the Innovation Board decides to pursue a concept and its prototypes, a completely new phase begins. This is because it is essential that the ideas and concepts are transferred to the line. There someone must receive these ideas and take responsibility for their implementation. The project manager should have the necessary knowledge and contacts to implement the project.

Requirements
- Project management: First and foremost, the project owner should be experienced in managing projects. In order to bring innovation quickly to the market and to continue to react to changing requirements, it is of great advantage if he has experience in agile project management.
- Expertise: In the best case, the project owner is familiar with the topic of the idea/innovation. This enables him to sharpen the idea further and steer it in the right direction.
Responsibilities
- Set up project: In a first step, the project owner must take over the idea and set up a corresponding project. This includes putting together the project team, clarifying the assignment, but also developing a project vision together with the project team.
- Leading the project: From now on, the Project Owner is responsible for leading the project team and ensuring that the idea is implemented and realized. At the same time he should react to changing requirements.
